Hadhrat Shaykh Yusuf Ibn Sulaiman Motala رحمة الله عليه
The academy carries the name of our teacher as a form of appreciation and an ever-lasting reward, inshāʾAllāh. His life was given to the teaching of the Qur'an and to the training of students who would carry that work forward.
IYMA continues that work in Bradford: the five daily prayers in jama'ah, weekly programmes for the community, and madrasah classes for children in ḥifẓ and nāẓirah.
